A HAND UP, NOT A HANDOUT
After serving our country, our military veterans often return home from their service without a home or are at risk of losing their homes.
Many low-income veterans need a hand-up, not a handout
Because these veterans have no permanent place to live, tonight, in the United States, 226,200 will sleep on the street, in abandoned buildings, and in places unfit for human habitation.
VAlanthropy Vision
To reduce the specter of ignored veterans by creating desirable, affordable permanent residences for low-income veterans and those about to become homeless.
VAlanthropy Mission
To structure a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation that utilizes federal, state, and local resources, charitable donors, and faith-based organizations to provide affordable, desirable, sanitary, permanent housing to low-income and very low-income veterans of the US military services who are or are facing homelessness.
